The Kenneth J. Temple Scholarship was established to honor Newark Memorial High School Class of 1994 graduate Ken Temple, who had a passion for swimming and coaching. His knowledge, patience, humor and genuine interest in the kids made him such an amazing coach and teacher. He had such a special gift to instill confidence in the kids he coached and taught. This award is presented in his honor.

This application is open to any Newark Memorial High School swim team member who plans to attend a 2-4 year college, university or trade school. Criteria for being selected for the award is based on:
